Christy Hayhoe lives and works in Toronto. Hayhoe graduated with a combined Fine Arts Studio and Organic Chemistry degree from the University of Toronto in 1997, and went on to co-author and edit numerous Chemistry textbooks, while painting on the side. In 2012, Hayhoe graduated from a residency program at the Toronto School of Art and began her formal career as an artist. Today, she is a founding member of red moth collective, based at 401 Richmond St. West.
