I am an English teacher turned author, editor, and freelance writer. Occasionally a literary friend or colleague will promise me a few dollars if I help them with some basic publicity for their book(s) but my true passion lies in writing speculative fiction. In the past my focus was YA but in recent years my work has revolved more around the cross-over market - not New Adult specifically (since right now in most publishers' eyes this involves contemporary romance to a high degree) but still in that age range of 18-25 for lovers of the fantastic.
