Kamal Parmar has been passionately involved in writing since many years. Her genre is poetry and she has a few books to her credit. Her poems are simple though poised and evocative enough to set the reader thinking. While juggling wisdom with naiveté, she appeals for a touch of God in our lives. She has many poetry publications in reputed Canadian literary journals and magazines. She is also published in a number of US and UK journals. She has been a member of a several writers’ organizations and Writers Guilds .Her recently published poetry book, ‘In the rising mist.’ has verses of beauty, life, childhood years spent in India as well as thought-provoking poems on the beauty of everything all around us. These poems reflect her innate sense of being ‘in sync’ with nature. She is a member of The League of Canadian Poets; Haiku Canada; ; Vaughan Poets Circle and The Writer’s Community of York Region. She is the current Secretary of The Ontario Poetry Society.
