My passion for painting landscapes in acrylic and oil paint comes from my love of nature and education in the biological sciences. I am particularly drawn to the landscapes of the Oak Ridges Moraine and Parry Sound/Muskoka areas. The vibrant colours in my paintings reflect the excitement I feel while observing and preserving these fragile ecosystems on canvas. I have painted since childhood, taken courses and workshops and participated in and won awards in numerous juried art shows. Currently my art is displayed on banners throughout King Township and in private and corporate collections.
