Diana McFadden studied at the Academy of Realist Arts in Toronto where she was classically trained in drawing and oil painting. Using Olde Holland oil paints as her medium, each piece is finely crafted with thin layers of paint in the old master style on Belgium linen. 

Diana’s love for nature, romance, architecture, old ruins and history are illustrated with imagery such as water, trees and the human form. Her goal is to capture moments that fill our lives with colour and joy. Diana’s art evokes a reminiscent feeling inspired by the beauty of everyday life. 

Most recently, Diana’s work has been exhibited in the Distillery District and Toronto Art Expo 2013 and The Artist Project Toronto 2014.
