Emilie Rondeau was born in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec in 1979. She now lives and works in the Kamouraska area in Lower Saint-Lawrence, Quebec. She received a master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 2006 and a bachelor's degree in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University in 2004. Confronting various scales, spaces and levels of reality, her paintings challenge the way we look at our environment. Since 2004, she has taken part in many solo and group exhibitions in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and New Mexico.
