This women's scarf is a unique handmade nuno felted scarf. I made it by firstly hand dying the silk in a beautiful shade of lavender. Then I added purple merino wool over and under the silk in a flower and vine design. I poked holes throughout for a webbed effect at each end. I also incorporated other fibers including silk roving, yarn and angelina for added interest. The final result marries the delicacy of a silk scarf with the softness and warmth of a wool scarf in a unique statement piece. There are many ways to wear this scarf. In the summer time, you could wear it over your shoulders with a nice summer dress. In the winter time, pair it with a sweater for added glamour. This silk scarf is a stylish accessory for teens or for women. Measurements: 10" wide by 72" long (25cm by 182cm) Care for your scarf: Gently handwash your nuno felted scarf in mild soapy water.
