The group meets every month to discuss issues regarding writing and publishing as well as difficulties that are faced.Writers and authors new or published come together and share your enthusiasm, expertise, knowledge and works.

Banff Centre/Leighton Artists' Colony

The Banff Centre/Leighton Artists' Colony offers residencies year-round to poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers at the Leighton Studios in Banff, Canada. Residents are provided with separate lodging and work space. Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Call or visit the website for an application and complete guidelines.
The cost of the residency is $117 Canadian per day, and meal plans range from $15 to $30 Canadian per day.
Submit a work sample, a project description, and a resumé with a $75 Candian application fee.

Le contenu est suffisamment riche en interprétations possibles pour que chacun y trouve un aspect particulier qui lui permette de s'exprimer selon sa personnalité.
Ils souhaitent que les participants évoluent dans une atmosphère de liberté et que leurs rencontres soient stimulantes au point d'encourager la poursuite de certains projets individuels. Comme dans tout processus de création, une grande souplesse est nécessaire, c'est pourquoi l'approche est ludique, intuitive, intégrative. La démarche utilisée, axée sur le respect mutuel, la convivialité et le plaisir, vous permettra d'approfondir les acquis et d'ouvrir d'autres perspectives. Aucun jugement ou comparaison! C'est le plaisir d'écrire qui réunit.

Anam Cara Writer's and Artist's Retreat

The Anam Cara Writer’s and Artist’s Retreat offers one-week to one-month residencies year-round to poets, fiction writers, creative nonfiction writers, and other artists in West Cork, Ireland, overlooking Coulagh Bay and the mountains and farmlands of the Beara Peninsula. Residents are provided with a private room and all meals.
A weekly residency fee ranges from €600 to€700 (approximately $835 to $974), depending on the room.
Submit a one-paragraph project description. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Upon acceptance, a 50 percent deposit is required.
