CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Long-Term Temporary Exhibition at Toronto Pearson International Airport

Location: Toronto Pearson Airport, Terminal 1, 6301 Silver Dart Dr, Mississauga, ON L5P 1B2
Opportunity for photographers. Deadline: Friday March 20, 2015 at 5 p.m. What better place than Toronto Pearson – where people of all cultures and backgrounds come together – to showcase exhibits of art, design, history, science, popular culture and national history. Our ever-changing exhibits feature works by cultural institutions, organizations, collectors, art groups and even the GTAA. Professional photographers are invited to submit work for consideration for a long-term temporary exhibition at Toronto Pearson International Airport. As part of the airport’s Terminal 3 Enhancement Project, we will install several series of photographs alongside moving sidewalks in a corridor that connects two sections of the terminal. The photographs will be printed in large scale, in vinyl. Up to three artists will be selected. Works will be on display for approximately one year. This section of Terminal is scheduled to open June 1 2015.

We are currently accepting applications for a full time fine art Installation Technician.  This available position is an integral part of the Art Division within the company responsible for the installation and art handling of fine art and sculptural artwork.  Duties would include pick up and delivery of art and or installation of that artwork.

Call for Art Submissions: New Gallery in Newmarket

The Denne House Gallery is opening in Newmarket. We are interested in the promotion of contemporary representational art and we'd like to invite established and emerging artists to submit their work for show and sale. The Denne House Gallery is a unique century home space with varied wall space available. From painted wood to brick wall space. We are in the centre of Newmarket with great exposure and have an active gallery planned.

To submit art work to The Denne House Gallery please include the following with your application: your full name, contact information, up to 15 digital images, pdf or.jpg. List images as they appear on the CD.

We are only accepting 2 dimensional pieces at this time. All mediums are accepted as long as they are in the 2 dimensional form. Original art only.
